I’m tired and I wanna go to bed!

So ‘The Bear’ is tired or fed up or both and has left the G20 meeting early to catch up with his sleep.

What would happen I wonder if he didn’t just have a nap on the plane back to Moscow but went into a long and deep hibernation all winter long?
Whilst he was in his bear hole, would the 2 headed eagle of the Imperial and Soviet military rise up and deal with the Ukraine issue with even more severity than ‘The Bear’ himself? Or are there any modernist democrats in the new Russia who would seek a more international, G20 type approach whilst he was having his kip?

Nobody knows and in the meantime the ‘old allies’ are threatening more sanctions if Russia doesn’t back off. 'Back off what?' comes the reply, 'we are doing nothing!'

20 conversations over the last 40 days between Angela and Vladimir (no doubt in her best DDR Russian) have had little effect also.

So what does 'The West' now do in this dangerous game of poker? Up the anti or fold the hand? What should inform the next move is:-
A. very good intelligence that Russia has a losing hand and
B. that 'The West' has the funds to keep on upping the anti until Russia decides to fold her hand.

For me, the way forward is much clearer as I am not a betting man!

Dave and the Goliath 1.7 billion

Dave and his mate George are off to bang the table and renogiate this payment demand.
They may well come back with a delayed payment and a few quid off as a goodwill (Rochester) gesture.

Please, please EU Commission and other FMs. Don't let him off the hook!!
All the better to dump you lot After The Referendum.

AND, Oh what a great world it will be for UK ATR.

A world where we can spend money like this 1.7 billion demand elswhere; it is after all 4 times the present NHS deficit.
Where would you rather this money be spent?
A. On the NHS or
B. In gifts to Germany and France?
